See if it happens when you're ONLY running PPSSPP. Whatever PPSSPP shows in its FPS counter is truth as far as rendered frames - there are scenarios where FRAPS will think PPSSPP is rendering more frames than it REALLY is.Īside from LunaMoo's good suggestions, I would definitely try disabling background programs, other apps, any screen recorders or automatic defrag programs, and pause any active process / antivirus scans. It's still not a bad idea to turn down these settings temporarily to verify.Īlso, don't necessarily trust FRAPS for the FPS of PPSSPP. If it was frameskipping, it would show e.g. due to texture scaling), it would show e.g. If PPSSPP *consistently* shows 30/30 or 60/60 the entire time, that should mean it's not dropping rendered frames. If that doesn't work either, though, it might indicate a saving bug. That would make it seem like a bug in the unlock thing, not in saving. Sounds like PSP saves work and load properly, though? It'd be interesting if a PPSSPP created save near the unlock point, when transferred to a PSP, allowed the unlock. If it is, should probably open an issue on GitHub. It can be created and it does save option changes on ppsspp, however diva mode unlock never saves to it after being unlocked in-game.ĭoes anyone have any such saves? I won't be able to use them (for lack of the game), but perhaps someone can confirm if it's still an issue.
